In situations where multiple units need to be repaired and where the tenant’s furniture can remain in the apartment, we assist by managing the transfers of tenants into one or more dedicated units furnished by us. This can be a unit that has already been repaired or that is available at another location. If there are no vacant apartments available, we arrange for the first tenant, or groups of tenants, to be housed in one of our corporate apartments, already furnished with all the necessities of family life.
We arrange for a schedule of moves in conjunction with the repair schedule, communicate directly with your tenants on move-in/move-out, setup a solution for key management, arrange for cleaning, setup TV/Internet/WiFi and are there to answer questions and help in any regard.
In situations where the tenant’s furniture cannot remain in the property, we collect, store and return, ensuring everything is as it was before the displacement.
Our Tenant displacement product and service portfolio:
- Rental Furniture – All furniture and home goods needed, including electronics, bed linens, towels, pots and pans, cutlery, ironing board, and any other item needed for home away from home living.
- Tenant Move Management – Scheduling, communication, answering of questions, coordination with repair schedule, designed at minimizing time you need to spend with tenants – Leave it all to us.
- Key Management – Installation of a lockbox in the lobby area for the displacement apartments, and ensure the tenants have all applicable information of how to get access and when and how it should be returned.
- Cleaning Services – Tenant change cleanings, regular cleaning throughout the tenancy if requested, and end cleanings at the end of the displacement situation.
- TV/Internet/WiFi – Installation, billing management, etc.
- Move and Storage Services – Packaging, collection, storage and return as originally furnished.
- Welcome Bags – If you want to do something extra for your tenants, we work with you on procuring basic grocery needs which will be in the displacement apartment upon arrival.
